Your recordings stay on your Mac.

PX7 Audio Recorder captures and finishes audio locally on your Mac. PX7 Digital does not receive your audio, filenames, folder paths, device names or recording settings.

The app asks macOS for microphone access when you record an input and system-audio access when you record Mac audio. Those permissions are used only for the source you choose. The app contains no analytics, advertising or telemetry.

Recorder connects to PX7 Digital only to check for updates or when you activate, refresh or deactivate a license. The license service receives the license key, app identifier, a one-way identifier for this Mac and the Mac's display name so it can manage the seven-device limit. Payment is handled by the provider linked from the purchase page.
